SmartBooks is a cloud bookkeeping and accounting platform built around how UK small businesses actually keep books — bank feeds, receipt capture, VAT returns, MTD filings, and the quarterly Making Tax Digital submissions that landlords and sole traders need from April 2026 onward. SmartBooks is designed for owners who do their own bookkeeping with light accountant oversight, rather than the other way round. Works alongside RR Accountants for year-end and tax planning.
