Privacy notice
Effective 21 August 2026
How Rajoka Limited handles personal data across SME44 and Land44.
Who we are
SME44 and Land44 are trading names of Rajoka Limited, registered in England & Wales, company number 12069067. Registered office: 64b Yardley Green Road, Birmingham, B9 5QE, United Kingdom. Rajoka Limited is the data controller for the processing described here. For anything in this notice, contact privacy@rajoka.com.
Data we hold about you, if you create an account
An account is an email address and a password. Supabase, our authentication provider, stores and verifies these on our behalf; we never see the password itself. We use this data to operate your account and to gate the parts of each service that require signing in. The lawful basis is the contract between us, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
If you buy something, Stripe processes the payment. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach us; we keep a record that a payment was made, for what, and when, because we are required to and because your account entitlement depends on it.
We do not send marketing emails. If that ever changes we will ask for your consent first rather than assuming it.
Cookies and local storage
On sme44.com and land44.comthere are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies and no third-party scripts loaded for that purpose. When you sign in, your session token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits; that is strictly necessary for the service to work and is removed when you sign out. That is the complete list.
This notice is published on rajoka.com, which is a different site with its own cookie banner and its own choices. Nothing you accept or decline there changes the position on the two services above, and nothing on the two services above is governed by it.
Data about other people: what the registers publish
The substance of both services is data from public registers: Companies House, HM Land Registry's Commercial and Corporate Ownership Data, and the licence registers of the Traffic Commissioners, the Environment Agency, the Care Quality Commission, Ofsted, the Food Standards Agency and the Home Office. Some of it is personal data, most notably the names, month and year of birth, nationality and country of residence of people with significant control, the names of company officers, and the names of registered proprietors at HM Land Registry, all as filed with those registers.
We obtain this data from the registers, not from the individuals concerned, so this section is our notice to those individuals under UK GDPR Article 14. The lawful basis for displaying it is legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f): providing factual, source-attributed research information that is already published on statutory public registers, to people researching business ownership, land ownership and succession.
We display it as the registers state it, refresh it against the sources, and show when each fact was last checked. We add no commentary about any individual, we rank nothing by any personal characteristic, and we do not enrich register data with information from anywhere else: no phone numbers, no personal email addresses, no social media.
If you appear in this data and object to our displaying it, email privacy@rajoka.com. We will respond within one month. If the register itself is wrong, the correction has to happen at Companies House or HM Land Registry, because we reflect what they publish; we will help you work out which source a fact came from.
Who processes data for us
Supabase provides authentication, Stripe processes payments, Railway hosts the database and data pipeline, and Vercel hosts the websites. Each acts as a processor under its standard data-protection terms. Processing may take place outside the UK under the safeguards in those terms.
How long we keep things
Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account, which you can do by emailing privacy@rajoka.com from the registered address. Records of payments are kept for as long as tax and company law require. Register data is not kept against you at all: it is refreshed from the sources and reflects what they currently publish.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where it applies. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object, and we will stop unless we can show compelling grounds that override your interests.
Exercise any of these by emailing privacy@rajoka.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you gave us the chance to put it right first.
