    Confirmation Statement

A confirmation statement is the annual return UK companies file at Companies House to confirm that the public record of the company is accurate.

Filed at least once every 12 months (the due date is your "confirmation date"), the statement confirms registered office, directors, PSCs, share capital, shareholders, and SIC codes. It's not a financial filing — annual accounts are separate. The fee is small (a few pounds online), but missing it can lead to the company being struck off the register. Most firms set a calendar reminder 12-14 days before the due date.
