    Skilled Worker Visa

    The Skilled Worker visa is the UK's main work visa route for overseas nationals to take up a job offered by a UK employer holding a valid sponsor licence.

    Eligibility requires: a job offer from a licensed sponsor, a Certificate of Sponsorship for the role, the role meeting the minimum skill level (RQF Level 3+ in most cases) and salary threshold (the general threshold and the going rate for the SOC code, whichever is higher), and English language ability. Most Skilled Worker visas are granted for up to 5 years and can lead to settlement (Indefinite Leave to Remain) after 5 years.
